About 2K Comms

Delivering strategic AND hands-on communications expertise

2K Comms is aptly named for two reasons: It is simple shorthand for the initials of my name and as such, it is a direct anchor to me personally and my reputation as a hands-on, highly collaborative, and results-oriented communications professional.

My 30-year communications career spans my early work as a journalist in Greater Boston, later serving start-up technology companies with PR agencies on both the East and West Coasts. This later led to in-house roles leading global PR, internal, and executive communications programs at world-class companies including EMC Corporation (acquired by Dell Technologies), RSA Security, Dell EMC and Waters Corporation.

2K Comms is born out of a desire to leverage my experience to serve organizations seeking honest, budget-friendly, and reliable expertise as a fractional communications and PR professional, for strategic program leadership, or short-term projects.

I also partner with a select group of talented professionals across creative design, video production, marketing, sales enablement, communications, and events to serve clients around the world.

  • Because above all, I prioritize results and getting stuff done (GSD). At the end of the day, marketing and communications professionals and the vendors they hire are measured on results and outcomes, not cheap ideas or good-looking slides.

  • I will apply to your business or project the best of what I practiced as a corporate communications and PR professional working at world-class companies. Thoughtful planning, sound recommendations, hands-on execution, timely updates, and measurable outcomes.

  • Whether you’re at a start-up looking to grow your brand and profile with the media or at an established company that needs to improve employee/stakeholder communication within a division or corporate function, working with a fractional professional like me can provide high value and flexiblity at a very reasonable cost.
